ERMI
Environmental Relative Mouldiness Index. A qPCR DNA analysis of a single dust sample that identifies and quantifies 36 mould species, returning a scored index for the whole home so you can pinpoint potential sources of contamination. Collected with a Swiffer cloth or vacuum sampler.
HERTSMI-2
A focused DNA screen of the mould species most associated with health impacts in water-damaged buildings. Faster and lower cost than a full ERMI, and often used as a re-check after remediation.
Microscopy (surface, tape & air)
Direct analysis of an Air-O-Cell air cassette or a BioTape surface sample. Counts and identifies mould to genus from a single spot, so it quickly answers "what is this spot?" without screening the whole home.
Biotoxin & mycotoxin testing
Screens environmental samples from homes, workplaces and schools for 700+ individual biotoxins. Relevant in water-damaged buildings, where concentrations on ultrafine particles can carry health risk.
Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
The most comprehensive DNA screen we offer, profiling the full microbial community of mould and bacteria in a sample rather than a fixed species panel. For advanced testing needs.
